Which Airlines Service HDN Yampa Valley Regional Airport (Fly Steamboat)?
From mid-December to the first of April, there are direct flights on United, Southwest, American, Delta, JetBlue and Alaska Airlines. United and Southwest Airlines offer direct flights between Steamboat/Hayden and Denver year-round.
Where is short term parking located at the Yampa Valley Regional Airport (Fly Steamboat)?
The short-term parking lot is located in front of the terminal. Take the second left after the terminal entrance. This is 30-minute parking only. There is also 1 hour free parking in the long-term parking lot. Just bear to the right after terminal entrance.

Is free parking available at the Yampa Valley Regional Airport?
Parking in our long-term lot is FREE for the first hour. After the first hour, the fee is $1/hour with a maximum fee of $9/per day. Short-term parking is FREE up to 30 minutes. If parking longer than 30 minutes vehicles are subject to being ticketed or towed.

How do I pay for parking?
When entering the long-term parking lot, please press the green ticket on the kiosk screen to dispense a ticket. Keep the ticket with you or place it in your vehicle, being sure to keep the parking ticket out of the direct sunlight. (You do not need to display your parking pass in your vehicle.)
Upon returning, the parking ticket can be used at the pay station located outside the west terminal doors at the curbside baggage check-in. This is the only machine that you can pay for parking with cash.
When prepaying for parking at the terminal kiosk, you must have the parking ticket with you. Scan the ticket by holding it 2 to 4 inches in front of the barcode scanner. Then follow the instructions on the screen to pay. To get a validated ticket push the receipt button on the screen. Both your old ticket and the validated receipt ticket will permit exiting the lot within one hour of validation. Upon exiting the parking lot, allow for the system to attempt to read your license plate. If license plate recognition is successful, the gate will open and allow you to exit. If the system is unable to read the license plate, the system will ask you to scan your media. Scan the ticket by holding it 2 to 4 inches in front of the barcode scanner.
If the parking ticket is inside the vehicle and you are paying with a credit card, simply pull up to the exit kiosk and allow for the system to attempt to read your license plate. If license plate recognition is successful, the fee will be displayed on the screen. Enter your credit card by pushing it all the way into the credit card slot and then quickly removing it. If the system is unable to read the license plate, the system will ask you to scan your media. Scan the ticket by holding it 2 to 4 inches in front of the barcode scanner.

We do not allow overnight stays in our facility due to staffing limitations.

Service animals only; all other dogs must be in a dog carrier.

No, the closest hotel accommodations are in the cities of Steamboat Springs and Craig, approximately 23 and 15 miles from the airport respectively.
Which rental car companies are located on site at the Yampa Valley Regional Airport (Fly Steamboat)?
Avis, Budget and Hertz are located in the baggage claim area of the airport terminal.
Where are the off-site rental car companies located?
Enterprise is located 23 miles east of the Airport, in the town of Steamboat Springs. To schedule a pick-up or drop-off from the airport contact the local Enterprise office at 970-879-7442.
Is Skycap available at the Yampa Valley Regional Airport?
There is Skycap services at the Airport from mid-December to the end of March.
How early should I arrive at the Yampa Valley Regional Airport before my flight time?

There is no currency exchange at the Airport, but there are several banks located in Steamboat Springs that do offer currency exchange services.

The 3 Wire Bar & Grill is a full service restaurant and bar next to the TSA screening checkpoint. Additionally, in the gate area after the TSA screening checkpoint the Way Station offers grab-and-go items and a full bar. Just follow the corridor to your right after going through TSA.

What times does the terminal open and close?
The terminal opens 2 hours prior to the first departure of the day and will remain open until one hour after the last arrival flight of the day or 8:00 PM (whichever is later).
What is the best way to travel to Steamboat Springs from the Yampa Valley Regional Airport?
We recommend either pre-arranging a rental car or a shuttle bus ride from one of our vendors, listed here (link to transportation page). The distance to Steamboat Springs from the airport is 23 miles from downtown and 27 miles from the Steamboat Ski Resort.
Do Uber, Lyft and Turo service the Yampa Valley Regional Airport?
While we do have limited service from Uber, Lyft and Turo there aren’t a lot of drivers/vehicles locally, and unless pre-arranged we do not recommend counting on these services from the airport upon arrival.
